“My name is Shema Dawood, and I am a first-year medical student at Albany Medical College. I am Sudanese-American and was born in Brooklyn NY. I moved to the Capital Region when I was six years old and have been here since. I completed my bachelor's degree at University of Albany with a major in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. I have worked as a Patient Care Associate and Medical Assistant for 4 years now. I am excited to learn under Dr. Davis and expand my knowledge on Family Medicine and Pediatrics!”
